Artesia Technologies Partners with RightsLine to
Deliver Licensing Capabilities for Digital Assets

RightsLine provides rights management, sales automation and
licensing for Artesia's digital asset management solution

LAS VEGAS, Nev., NAB CONFERENCE, APRIL 7, 2003-- RightsLine, Inc., a leading provider of business rights management, sales automation and licensing solutions, and Artesia Technologies, the leading provider of enterprise digital asset management (DAM) solutions, announced an extension of their multi-year partnership to deliver RightsLine's leading rights solutions in conjunction with Artesia's digital asset management system. Together, Artesia and RightsLine will offer business rights and sales automation software to extend the benefits of Artesia's core product, TEAMS.

"By using RightsLine, Artesia customers can now benefit from software that manages the business rights governing the digital assets managed by TEAMS," said Michael Barros, vice president of Business Development for Artesia. "By doing so, they can streamline their rights-associated business processes and more easily generate new revenue streams from their high value content."

In conjunction with RightsLine, Artesia can provide a comprehensive content licensing and delivery solution. RightsLine's Rights Intelligence System™ and Rights Licensing Server™ will enable users to increase revenue, improve efficiency and reduce legal risk.

"Centralizing access to vital digital content is an initial goal for many content companies, but attention eventually shifts to increasing the revenue generated by those assets," commented Robert Gleiberman, EVP and COO of RightsLine. "By knowing where, when and how content can be used internally or licensed to a third party - plus automating sales and licensing - content owners can focus on increasing revenue."

RightsLine enhances the business benefits derived from all types of intellectual property before, during or after implementing a digital content strategy. In addition to managing business rights, RightsLine provides sales automation tools to fully exploit existing and new channels of distribution.

"We have enjoyed working with RightsLine for several years now and are very excited that our partnership can provide additional value to the marketplace," said Barros.
