Rights Challenge
Upon launching the Movieclips.com site, the founders were inundated with requests to use the film clips in ways outside of the permissions granted by the studios. Examples of the requests included corporate presentations, trade shows, advertising uses and so on. Movieclips.com had no method to deal with these requests, yet wanted to provide users with a comprehensive experience.
