Regency Enterprises
Case Study
About
Regency Enterprises is a Los Angeles-based film and television production company founded in 1982 as Embassy International Pictures. It produces several feature films and television series each year through its production subsidiaries New Regency Productions and Regency Television, and co-finances many additional productions with 20th Century Fox (who handles distribution of many of Regency Enterprise's films).
Rights Challenge
As a small production-oriented media company, Regency Enterprises has diverse needs in the areas of asset and rights management. In order to manage the full production lifecycle of a feature film or television series from inception to distribution, a completely integrated asset and rights management platform is an absolute necessity.
How do they use RightsLine?
Regency Enterprises uses RightsLine to manage everything from talent and production agreements to worldwide home entertainment and television distribution output deals. The need to have a fully integrated platform that manages assets throughout the entire production lifecycle and to have full visibility into rights availabilities across their entire library—globally—makes RightsLine the key production operational system in use at Regency Enterprises.
