Data/Business Intelligence Analyst

Job Description
The Data/Business Intelligence Analyst will design and implement innovative representations of data in graphical and tabular formats in a user friendly manner, for display in the Rightsline SaaS platform. In this role, it is imperative that the individual is well-versed in reporting and BI-related technology, can perform average-to-complex data queries, and can work in a collaborative manner with all levels in the organization. This role will also have a high level of exposure to clients and will require the candidate to understand and articulate clients’ reporting requirements.
Duties include:
  • Understanding stakeholder business needs/requirements and transforming the information into meaningful, graphical and tabular representations within the Rightsline platform
  • Constructing SQL ETL processes for loading dynamic data warehouse
  • Designing and implementing data structures for supporting all analytics in Rightsline
  • Assisting developers and product managers in day-to-day duties to support the interaction of the data and application layer of our software
  • Providing input into the ongoing design, development, and deployment of our business intelligence and analytical solutions
  • Performing quality assurance testing and ensuring our solutions deliver business value to stakeholders
  • Performing analysis and creating specifications for analytics in Rightsline
  • Updating and generating documentation for using and configuring Rightsline
  • Establishing and maintaining BI best practices and standards
  • Serving as Subject Matter Expert (SME) and “Go-To” person for BI within Rightsline
  • Working directly with and evaluating Third Party BI vendors that could be integrated into our product stack
  • Designing Custom Reporting and Analysis interfaces within Rightsline

  • Applicants should also have proven analytical, planning, problem solving, and decision-making skills
Qualifications include:
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent technical work experience
  • Advanced knowledge of relational databases, with an experience in Microsoft SQL Server 2012 or better as a plus
  • Extensive experience analyzing data using SQL tools including SSRS
  • Highly skilled in writing SQL queries
  • Solid data modeling and data analysis skills with a strong customer focus
  • Ability to understand and gather complex reporting requirements and develop creative, highly graphical data representations on the web
  • Excellent communication, professional, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of Intellectual Property Rights management is a plus

Software Engineer

Requirements include:
